Jennifer Leonard

Jennifer began her career with Virginia Capital Real Estate in 2013 as an Accounting Assistant. After obtaining her Real Estate license in April of 2014, she spent the next few years working as our Agent Support Coordinator, and then overseeing the REO Department. After moving around and learning the ins and outs of each position within the company, Jennifer became Head of Operations in 2016. This position allows her to support and assist both our staff and our REALTORS® in the daily operation of our real estate business. She prides herself on prompt, efficient service, knowing how important this is to keeping business moving forward in this fast-paced industry.

 

Jennifer’s work experience, which began in middle school, includes 4 years in the food service industry, 7 years in the retail industry, a year in banking, and several years working for small businesses owned by herself and her family. This varied background, including 2 prior management positions, has taught her a wide variety of skills which she is able to employ daily. She has also had the opportunity to work with many different people, from all different backgrounds, in her native Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Virginia.  

 

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and multiple dogs, raising sheep and chickens on their property in Powhatan. She loves reading, music, crafting, cooking, and exploring the area supporting local restaurants and businesses.
